Our Story

How it all started?

One day, the opportunity came:

Open a Singaporean restaurant in New York.

Not in Singapore. Not in Jakarta. Not in Kuala Lumpur.

New York.

That’s not something you ignore. So we said yes.

Singapore Social is deeply Singaporean — but it carries the wider Southeast Asian story too. Indonesia. Malaysia. Shared roots, spices and memories.

We cook the food we grew up eating.

Chicken rice. Nasi lemak. Satay. Laksa. Rendang. Bakmi. Roti canai.

This restaurant is personal.
